[Gnuplot-info] Superscript in a cluster histogram

Hello all,

I try to plot the data as a cluster histogram following the example described here:
http://www.codealias.info/technotes/gnuplot_cluster_histogram_example
Instead of numbers on x axis I use words but the question is how to add a superscript to it?
X axis should look like abc, abc^2, abc^3 and so on.
Sorry if it is too simple but could not find the answer myself. Thank you all in advance.
