Hi,
I'd like to obtain with gnuplot a graph like this:
using a 3D dataset like that shown by the red points.
Now I obtain a contour graph with the following option:
/set pm3d interpolate 8,8
set dgrid3d 8,45,20
set palette maxcolors 100
set view map
splot "KH.dat" using 1:2:3 with pm3d;
/
I have two question:
* A) How can I add the real points (not the grid!!) on the graph?
because if I use this option (splot "KH.dat" using 1:2:3 with
pm3d,\ "KH.dat" using 1:2:3 w points palette ps 1 pt 4;) I draw
the grid points on the contour graph, but not the real points...
* If possible, how can I clip the grid3d? I'd like to obtain a
contour graph only when I have the real data (see the figure1) and
not "extrapolate" anything.
Thanks for the attention!
Roberto
