If you would like install gnuplot to windows 7, one sometimes needs to remove the access forbidden
flags in properties menu. The properties menu can be pulled by clicking icon of the file by right
mouse button.

I do not have windows vista and 7. But I have an experience to intall gnuplot to windows vista PC of
other persons.  The trial to install the gnuplot to the 'C:\Program Files' was in failure.  I cannot
open help file even though after removing the access forbitten flag of the help file.  
Therefore I installed gnuplot to c:\apps.  The gnuplot worked well.

Someone else reported successful results for installing gnuoplot in 'C:\Program Files'.
on windows 7.

I do not know the reason why the different results occurred at installing gnuplot to windows vista and
windows 7.

Some bugs are found in gnuplot 4.4.0 official binaries.
Some of them have been fixed in the cvs version (gnuplot 4.5),
