[Gnuplot-info] change of plot line/box/points color syntax in 4.4

Hi,
 
Is there anyway to go back to the old way of specifying colors for a particular type
of object?  Things like "w boxes 1" or "w lp 1" don't work anymore in 4.4, and a lot
of our scripts have to be rebuilt to work with gnuplot 4.4
 
I did some googling, but found nothing relevant.
