and I have 10 blocks. The first column is the hour of the day, the second is some time difference and the third is the number of records processed. I tried this command:
splot "/Volumes/Data/PROJECTS/InputProcessor/hour_maxdiff_count.txt"
and it displayed a monotone rising plane where I could not see any relation to the data above. Then I tried:
gnuplot> splot "/Volumes/Data/PROJECTS/InputProcessor/hour_maxdiff_count.txt" using 1:2:3 with linesp
warning: No usable data in this plot to auto-scale axis range

All points x value undefined
I expected x axis will go from 0 to 23, the y axis from 0 to 173 / the biggest value in the second column/, and the z axes from 81 to 5106 or so.
What am I doing wrong ? If splot is not really good for displaying this data, what other plotting is suggested. In reality the number of data blocks are more than 10, this is just a test case to start with.
