[Gnuplot-info] Problems with the display

Hello:

I am trying to use gnuplot in cygwin, in my windows, and I am currently
having a problem. I ssh into cygwin in the following way:

ssh -X user@address

and then, I type:

gnuplot.

And I get a command prompt that looks like this:

gnuplot>

So I type in:

plot x

And the computer does nothing, it just shows a new command prompt line like
this:

gnuplot>

So I basically came up with the conclusion that my cygwin does not have a
display screen or something, is that right? Did I make any mistake in my use
of gnuplot? Do you know how can I get the display to be shown in my
computer?
