A feature suggestion

Dear Gnuplot developers,

The multiplot command is a fantastic addition. What would enhance it further
is to have "xlabel" and "ylabel" features, similar to its title option.
Often in a multiplot we want to have just a single x- and a y-label.
Presently, I have to do this by hand.
