[Gnuplot-info] plot [column2 of fileA]:[column5 of fileB]

Hi to all,

I want to plot two different colums from two different files in a single graph. 
More simply I want to plot column 2 of fileA against column 5 of fileB
plot [column2 of fileA column5 of fileB]

How can I do so..........I think  it can be done by using 'join' command but I forget the exact syntax, please help
