Hi everyone I'm plotting yearly time series data and a problem appears with leap years. A data file contains 12 rows, each one corresponding to a month. First column of each row is the date in format YYYYMM (200801). The gnuplot script lines refering x axis are set timefmt "%Y%m" set xlabel "Month" set xdata time set format x "%m" When plotting a non leap year the graph looks fine (http://www3.uji.es/ ~fpastor/research/sst/1989-SST.png<http://www3.uji.es/%7Efpastor/research/sst/1989-SST.png>) but when plotting a leap year an extra month (with no data) appears to the right of the graph (http:// www3.uji.es/~fpastor/research/sst/2008-SST.png<http://www3.uji.es/%7Efpastor/research/sst/2008-SST.png> ). I can't figure out what's happening here. Any idea or help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. -- _________________________ El ponent la mou, el llevant la plou Usuari Linux registrat: 363952 ------- Fotos: http://picasaweb.google.es/pacomet |
