I am glad to hear your success.
I also appreciate your detailed reports.

At least for the cvs version (currently it is gnuplot 4.5), I will keep current distribution style.
The cvs version is updated very frequently so that I would like to save my time for packaging.  In
addition, the cvs version is maily for the power users but not for elemetary users.

For the official version, it is better to disscuss the distribution style in the gnuplot-beta ML.

I admit that NSIS installer is useful for elementary users but I myself do not want to work on it.
(The GnuWin32 sofware has installer package and zip package. I have selected zip package because it
does not use registry and very useful to install into the usb drive.)

I hope that some windows power users will to make efforts to create the NSIS packages.
