Please note that this reply also be sent to gnuplot-info list for other gnuplot for windows users.

:From some reasons, I still am using windows xp (sp3). So I do not know the below works on windows 7.

1) Start up menu
I have googled and found the page  

How to Add or Delete Start Menu All Programs Shortcuts in Windows 7

Before you execute the above, you have to create a shortcut to (w)gnuplot.exe.
By clicking right mouse button, pull the context menu, you might find to item of creating short cut.
 

2) Windows help
