[Gnuplot-info] plotting 3D with color scale bar?

Hi everyone, 

I have to plot a scaler quantity on a 2d regular grid. 

1 1   0.2 
1 1   0 
1 1   0.5 
2 2   -0.1
3 3   -0.5
................................................. 
- 
Is there a way of plotting it in gnuplot, so that i can place a color at 
given point using $3 automatically?
