I have tagged the CVS tree as Release_4_4_0 and created a tarball.
If you build from CVS as of that tag date it will be identical to my source package.

That would be fine.  Email me when they are ready, and I will place them
on SourceForge at the same time I put the source tarball there.

It seems that the SourceForge automatic indexing system only shows files
loaded on the same day as "Newest Files", so we want to upload everything
at the same time.
