I need to splot pm3d (or similar) where the plot fills the .png output size, ie. no background, no tics, no title, nothing. For weeks now I have trawled the web, read and read, nothing, but plenty of other people try and find the solution too. Some workaround using image post processing software. If there is an answer I suggest it is put into the FAQ. There is talk about with image but never concrete examples which demonstrate this working. Here is a tiny example.
