If you would to creat pdf file, I recommend to use pdfcairo terminal (the cairo based terminal for
pdf).
It is free to use and the anti-alias cario based give a smooth graph.

It requires recent cairo, pango,  glib, and intl (freetype, fontconfig?) (linpng, this is required for
pngcairo but not pdfcairo. But it is also useful for creating png files). If I omit some dependency
please forgive me.
