[Gnuplot-info] Exponential Function (Real Part)

Hi all,

does anyone know how to make a smooth surface makt it look likes
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Exponential_Function_(Real_Part).png?

I tried but the color boundary is not smooth, if set up the zrange between
-12 and 12, or -18 and 18
