Hi all, does anyone know how to make a smooth surface makt it look likes http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Exponential_Function_(Real_Part).png? I tried but the color boundary is not smooth, if set up the zrange between -12 and 12, or -18 and 18 reset set title "complex number = real(exp(x+y*{0,1}))" set timefmt "%H:%M" set style fill solid 1 set xrange [-3:3] set yrange [-2.1*pi:2.1*pi] set zrange [-20:20] set ticslevel 0 set xlabel "X" set ylabel "Y" set zlabel "Z" set contour base set cntrparam levels incr -10,2,10 set pm3d set palette rgbformulae 25,3,9 set isosamples 40 set hidden3d; show xzeroaxis set xzeroaxis unset hidden3d replot splot real(exp(x+y*{0,1})) with lines lc rgb variable linewidth 1 -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/Exponential-Function-%28Real-Part%29-tp27085782p27085782.html Sent from the Gnuplot - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
