[Gnuplot-info] How to extract the data from splot in gnuplot

[sabari <sa...@gm...>]

I used some fitting function to plot the 2D plot (splot <fn.>). Then i got
nice 2D contour plot.. Now my question is, 
how to extract data from fitting function or gnuplot like x,y,z (.dat format
or .txt format)

or

how to plot projection of 2D contour plot.


If possible pls send some idea!!!!
