I think writeback or restore option in xrange cannot help to solve my
problem.

For example,

set xrange[0:1100] (with any option)
p 'temp.dat' u 1:2 w lp #last snapshot
# to draw 1st snapshot, i use
p[0:100] 'temp.dat' u 1:2 w lp
# then the range of x immediately change to 0-100 not fixed range of 0-1100.
I can't do that by using xrange option.

In the help,
They used funtion such as sin(x) and x/2 not a data. Here is a point.
>From one data, I should draw part of one graph under fixed xrange.
To do so, I have to use p[0:100], p[100:200], and so on. Then I can't fix
the xrange.
