Of course that's not going to give the area. But I'm interested in knowing if there's a way as well. In excel I do a trapezoidal integration sum(i) ((x(i+1)-x(i))*(y(i+1)+y(i))/2) . How can I do the same wiht gnuplot on a data set? Thanks, w.
