[Gnuplot-info] Plot within a plot--how to?

I would like to have a plot within a plot.  I have a plot where I would like
to zoom in on one corner to show the detail, while still keeping the rest of
the plot.
In looking around it seems like I might be able to do this with multiplot,
but that seems to be used for putting plots side by side which is not what I
want.  Is multiplot the way to go or should I be looking at something else?
 Is there a demo describing ho to do this?
