Dear listmembers,
one more: regarding the startup message I integrated one further patch 
(attached) that modifies the behaviour depending on the presence of the 
GNUPLOT_LIB_DEFAULT preprocessor define.
Just my 2 cents here ... - as before, this one goes against CVS as of last 
friday.

if you really want to see the pictures above - use some font
with constant spacing like courier! :-)
