Both in gnuplot 4.2 and in the current CVS, wxt does not work on Mac OS X.

There is a patch on SourceForge that is supposed to make it work on Mac 
OS X :

However, this is a heavy work, and still in progress. It is supposed to 
build and work on Mac OS X, but it is most likely to be slowish, and I 
have not tried it yet.

I'd like to finish it to move further, but I do not spend as much time 
developing for gnuplot as I used to...
