I am using gnuplot 4.0 on linux 64.<br>
I would like to deactivate warning messages like:<br>

the screen output to monitor the progress of plots generation, e.g.
with a rotating bar ( <font face="Courier New, Courier, monospace">| /
- \ | / - \ | </font> ) using awk '{printf }'<br>
and I can't do that if I have some random outputs from gnuplot itself<br>

could you please give me some tips?<br>
