dear Mr. Broeker,
ok - specifying
appdefaultdir=/where/ever
does the trick. The opensuse developers had had specified
xresourcedir=/where/ever
so far, this did not work for 4.2.3 but did work for 4.2.2.
That was the reason why I stumbled over the Makefile.am specification in
share/ as it was changed from 4.2.2 to 4.2.3.
I had guessed that this was related to the AppDefDir define, may easily be
that I had had been wrong in this regard.
Anyway, specifying appdefaultdir instead of xresourcedir does work.
