I have two files:
"data1.dat"       "data2.dat"
    1 2                      1  3
    2 3                      2  5
    4 5                      6  7 
    6 7                      7   5
   7 9                       8   8

So, how plot "data1.dat" from x[1:4] and "data2.dat" from x[2:7] at the same
plot?     

'Masking'  is when drop out some points during line fitting. 


see 'help set xrange'       

what does 'masking' do?
