Whats about an addition of one coloumn with the colornames? x y z -------- 1 1 red 2 1 red 3 1 red 4 2 green 5 1 red 6 1 red 7 2 green For the colours you have to write the hexadecimal code e.g.#FF00FF I've heard about the expressions: rgb(r,g,b) = 65536 * int(r) + 256 * int(g) + int(b) splot "data.dat" using 1:2:3:(rgb($1,$2,$3)) with points lc rgb variable How can i use this? if i put this in my commandline, it occurs the following faults; 1)warning: Axis range undefined due to improper data values. NaN? Inf? 2)All points z value undefined Can you help me please -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/plot-point-from-table-in-different-colors-tp15500251p15599352.html Sent from the Gnuplot - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
