[Gnuplot-info] plot point from table in different colors

Hi,
i've given a table of values e.g.

x    y
-----
1    1
2    1
3    1 
4    2
5    1
6    1
7    2

|        X    X                  <--Red
|     
|X X X  X X                    <--Green
|
--------------------->

I want do plot some points in red, some in green. 

Can i add the colorname into my table and retrieve it perhaps by the
commandline?
