Not true.  It is scalable, just like the font size and the point size.

I don't recall saying anything about it at all, other than pointing out
this was already under the control of "set term ... dashlength <foo>".
If you want to scale it up or down with the terminal size, you just say so.

(The emf terminal seems to be missing this feature. I don't know whether
that's because nobody noticed, or because the emf protocol makes it hard).
