small mods to demos

I added a couple patches to SourceForge to demos that could also be put in 4.2 branch if wanted.

iterate.dem:  Simple change to the period to make the sinusoid series begin and end on the cycle.

borders.dem:  Add pause -1 to make consistent with all other demos.
