As Hans said, please give us some results we can verify against.  However, I think that the gamma function is working properly, as I had just spruced up the 'prob.dem' file.  Please have a look at that file.  I added some printouts of the gamma function and the log gamma function, and spent a lot of time making sure I got adequate sampling in those tricky subregions to the left of the plot.

I will send you some screen captures separately.
