It might equally well mean that other users don't consider it all that 
buggy.  Reading minds of people you don't even know exist is not really

No.  I would expect that to be refused by the parser, given that it's 
not listed in 'help xyplane'.  Whatever 'unset xyplane' does besides 
causing an error message, is an undocumented feature, i.e. a bug.

Absolutely, except that there should actually be five, but they should 
be 'reset/set/unset/show/save').  If I had the time to do it these days,
