I can confirm this. Hence the "Change Folder" dialog (from the Windows
GUI menu) will not provide this. I assume that Windows users will stick
with the dialog instead of typing into the Gnuplot console... (as I do ;-).

I am just writing this to keep it in mind when searching for a solution...
