[Gnuplot-info] How to draw a slop, a tangent, an integrated surface under a function?

Hi,

I'm wondering if it's possible to draw a slop, like this:

      / 
     /
    /\  Here a latex expression...
   /--+---
  /
My function ax+b

An a tangent, and an integrated surface coloried under a function. My
function is an interpolation function...

If gnuplot can't, do you know a product capable with all of this?

What part of that sketch is the "slope"?  I see a straight line at an 
angle, a horizontal, something that appears to be an angle, and some
text.

Please note that gnuplot is not, nor does it try to be, an analytical 
maths workbench.  If that's what you're looking for, try Mathematica, 
Maple, MuPAD or one of their ilk.
