Hi,
Porbably this behaviour is due to the new installation. In order to
chek that, try the folowing:
Open a terminal window, and launch gnuplot. You should see the
"standar gnuplot welcome" and this line:
Terminal type set to 'x11'
If you see =B4unknwon=B4 then you need to install some x11-dev packages.
Breezy (Ubuntu 5.10) has a package named gnuplot-x11 that is needed in
order to plot using the x11 terminal.
