[Gnuplot-info] Help needed for gnuplot 4.0 version

Dear Sir,

I installed gnuplot 4.0 version recently. I have one complaint abt. this version 4.0.

I use 'bash' shell (linux operating system). When I go to gnuplot mode from bash shell,
I tried the following.

gnuplot> !ls abc<tab>

I expected '<tab>' to complete the filename stating with 'abc'(which was done in gnuplot version 3.7)

Is there anyway in version 4.0, to have <tab> function as described above.

Actually, that's not a valid complaint about gnuplot 4.0 --- it's a
complaint you should address to whoever built your binary of 4.0.  It
was not built with the same options compiled in as the 3.7 one you used
before.

That's not really "gnuplot mode", that's you interacting with the 
program gnuplot.

Build it using GNU libreadline.
