Greetings, I apologize if this is a FAQ. I have some gnuplot files I want to execute multiple times varying some of the values within. I can't use environment variables because I am running this on a Win32 machine so backtick substitution won't work within gnuplot. And I can't find any way to pass variables via the calling command line. Any ideas? Thank you for your reply! Here was how I installed the gnuplot: su; ./configure; make; make check; make install; After finished the installation I opened a terminal window, typed "gnuplot". I then typed " set terminal to png" and got the error message. The log file I checked is "gnuplot-4.2.3/config.log", the words I found are in the log file. I do think the config.log file belongs to the "gnuplot", but maybe this is not the correct file I should check?
