Gentile Cliente, Nell'ambito di un progetto di verifica dei dati anagrafici forniti durante la sottoscrizione dei servizi di CartaSi S.p.A e stata riscontrata una incongruenza relativa ai dati anagrafici in oggetto da Lei forniti all momento della sottoscrizione contrattuale. Bonjour/Hello, voici mon problème/Here's my problem : définition d'une fonction avec 2 paramètres a et b / define a function with parameters a and b : E(x) tracé de 2 ensembles de données / plot 2 sets of datas from files : plot 'mydata.1' u 1:2 t 'ONE' w pt 1 lc 1, 'mydata.2' u 1:3 t 'TWO' w pt 2 lc 2 fit E(x) 'mydata.1' u 1:2 via a,b replot E(x) fit E(x) 'mydata.2' u 1:3 via a,b replot E(x) .../... Le premier "replot" trace bien la courbe voulue/the firts "replot" show the right curve MAIS/BUT lors du second "replot", la première courbe E(x) disparaît et la seconde est tracée correctement with the second "replot", the first curve E(x) wanishes and the second one is plotted correctely. Si l'on refait "fit E(x) 'mydata.1'...", la première courbe revient, mais la précédente disparaît If we redo fit E(x) 'mydata.1'...", the first curve comes back but the previuous one wanishes. Ce qui est étrange, c'est que chaque "replot E(x)" donnent lieu à une entrée nouvelle dans la légende What is strange, is that every "replot E(x)" give a new entry in the key Ceci est en lien avec le fait que le "sh plot" montre toutes les occurences des "replot" E(x) This is connected to the fact that a "sh plot" shows all the occurences of the replotted E(x) Mais alors, pourquoi seule la toute dernière courbe E(x) est-elle tracée ? Hello,
As far as I can test with gnuplot 4.4 patchlevel 2
1) Your file does not contain any 3.0 value in the third column.
However it contains plenty of 3.0E6, so I changed the condition
accordingly.
2) the ? operator does work, you can see this by replacing 1/0 by a
numerical value or by $6. I would say he guilty is 1/0 which prevents
the dots to be connected between the point before and the point after
the ignored one.
Considering I read this mailing list for months and never saw any
answer to a question (only lots of spam), I do not expect your bug to
find a solution anytime soon (please, Gnuplot developers, prove me
wrong and reply to this mail!). So in your case, I would use a
preprocessing command :
$ awk '{if ($3==3.00000000E+06) print $0 }' file > file_with_3E6

Hi, I'm trying to plot circles at different epoch times. If I use points the values plot fine however I get nothing if I use circles. I get the same result if I just treat the X values as integers and not time. eg. reset set xdata time set timefmt x "%s" set style circle radius graph 0.02, first 0, 0 plot '-' using 1:1 with circles 1286274613 1286879458 1286879553 1287068295 1287066615 e and the same result if I remove 'set xdata time; set timefmt x "%s"'. Using wgnuplot 4.4.3 on Window XP 32bit. It seems to be fixed in 4.5 CVS snapshot, but would like to see it fixed if there is to be another 4.4 patch release before 4.5 as I wish to deploy the scripts to end-users. I am using the emf terminal with enhanced text mode.
There is trouble with superscripts, e.g.
set xlabel "x^2"
works OK, but when the text is to be rotated, as in
set ylabel "x^2"
the positioning of the superscript 2 is all wrong--it is spaced over way to
far with the equivalent of about three blank spaces between the x and the 2.
In addition, it is slightly too high--it appears to be placed on the line
above the x rather than halfway up as in a true superscript.
Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround?
I'm using version 4.4.
