Otherwise, we will get lots of questions from new users asking "why am i getting this TZ message?" Of course, the install CD could set that before running the Install program. For a user installing FreeDOS 1.1 from the distro, I don't see a big problem if the TZ is off WHEN UNZIPPING PACKAGES TO THE HARD DRIVE. When you're running FreeDOS afterward, yes that's a problem. But during the install process, having the TZ be off by 12 hours isn't that big of a deal. That may be the simple view, but that's how I see it. -jh |
