This seems to be a very old bug. Whenever I go to delete a file I created on linux, it tells me I need permission from everyone or that the file is in use. I can't think of a workaround to this other than to book up a live cd and that is a pretty dirty fix. This really needs to be fixed.

This could be a problem with they way Windows handles permissions, rather than the ext2fsd. Try running Windows security on the file/folder, unset "read only" flag and give full control permissions to "everyone".

I have the same issue as described in the opening post. I am confused as on how to apply the suggested fix. Could anyone please help us out?

With Ext2Fsd, the 'security' tab in the EXT* drive, or folder on the drive, is not present. 'Read only' permissions can be changed but do not stick, ie. I change them and then they show up again when I reopen the properties panel).

My NTFS drive functions fine and has the 'security' tab present in it's properties.

There is a Windows tutorial on how to get to the 'security' tab here: http://windows.mercenie.com/windows-8/how-to-take-ownership-permission-of-a-file-or-folder-in-windows-8/

Before 0.60, Ext2Fsd can not delete Ext4 extent files. Issue resolved.
