#5 Clicking noise on stream start with Diamond Multimedia USB Sound

Setup: Windows 7,

Whenever the sound drops to 0 and continues, or starting a stream on any of the channels, a fast (around 1/2 second long and quite audible) double-click noise occurs on one of the speakers.

This does not occur in stereo, but on 4, 5.1 and 7.1 it does.

On 4 it shows up on the RL speaker.
On 5.1 on the RL again.
On 7.1 (I have a 6.1 setup) on the SL speaker (no SR speaker, SR is rear speaker).

I test this on the Sound configuration page, even clicking on the sub produces the double-click noise on the above speakers.

Otherwise Equalizer APO is seems to be working fine, however it is generating a LOG file.

At every initiation of sound it generates:

Sometimes the double-clicking noise at the beginning of the sound file changes to one click at the beginning and one at the end with error log lines such as:

Workarounds: As it only manifests on one channel (and I am using a 6.1 setup), I am not using the SL speaker.
