Hi, trying to use equalizer to swap channels - but it's not working. Running Windows 10, I'm selecting my default audio device (realtek) and can confirm that the various filters all have an affect on the audio playback. But using the copy function suggested here and elsewhere has absolutely no effect.

I test this by using the windows mixer to put all the audio on just one channel (left or right) and confirming that swapping does not change which channel it plays from. Is this not what I should expect?

I'm not sure what you mean by "windows mixer". Your testing procedure might be flawed because your changes might take effect after Equalizer APO has already filtered the audio. You should test using a normal Windows application (e.g. search "stereo test" on YouTube).

    Thanks so much for responding!
I was using some app that pops up when I plug in speakers (republic of gamers supremefx?) as well as the sound settings/device properties Balance control. I'm realizing now that is not going to work.

A simple stereo test as you suggest shows it does have the intended affect. Thanks again for responding and sorry to waste your time. Hopefully at the very least this thread will help someone else making the same mistake.
