feature request for band stop filter for freqencies within that frequency

    hi there, i would like to have you to put in this in equalizer apo it is called band stop filter within this frequency. here's some more info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Band-stop_filter

    I think the notch filter that is already implemented is exactly this. You can specify a lower Q value (default is 30) to make the stopband wider:

    Filter: ON NO Fc 100 Hz Q 5

    (or just use the Configuration Editor)

    Can you do this:

    by using notch filter?
    (Plot done using Audacity + bandstop.ny)

    I have not tried this but probably one be able to create this filter already by scripting using HPF, LPF, Channel and Copy comands (though, filter order needs to be high to get steep enough slopes).
