Bugs item #959782, was opened at 2004-05-25 00:15 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=554338&aid=959782&group_id=78745 Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Jonathan Riddell (jriddell) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: INSTALL_WebDAV documentation doesn't say how to secure files Initial Comment: The INSTALL_WebDAV file claims there is a sample .htaccess file to help you set up authentication on your WebDAV file repositary but there is not. It is important to have this information otherwise user's files will be completely insecure. The patch at http://edscout.org.uk/~jr/INSTALL_WebDAV.diff adds information on setting up mod_mysql_auth to work against eGroupWare's database and how to make it work for group directories as well. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=554338&aid=959782&group_id=78745 |
