> : Referencing existing filemanager files (ahead:files) from a task is not easy. You need to link them via filemanager links. It's not possible to do it from an empty task (you need to attach at least on file to the task previously)

If you allow the files to be standard linkable egroupware objects  (accesible from the "create new links" section, intead the attach section, of the "links" tab, in the infolog creation/edition forms) it would be possible to

- use the search capabilities from the link source
- separate clearly the task owned files from other common files related to the task
- allow the use of common files in templated tasks (now they are ignored after the task generation)
