It happened after installing r36328 Comment by Ralf Becker at 2011/08/29 08:03: Try an other update, I fixed an issue with the cache, reported on the devel list. Ralf Comment by juergen dlugi at 2011/08/29 03:37: It appears with rev 36329. Only translations of 'common' are affected, in other applications like infolog etc. translation is still working. And the language select box on the login screen shows only yes or no, seems to be a default fall back when select-options gets no data. Jürgen Comment by juergen dlugi at 2011/08/28 16:23: Hi Stefan, Ralf, I can confirm this behaviour for rev 36346. Application titles have english names. ...one more strange behaviour: If the language select-box is enabled, it shows only yes or no. error.log during generating the login screen: [Sun Aug 28 15:57:06 2011] [error] [client XXX] PHP Warning: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array in /var/www/egroupware/phpgwapi/inc/class.translation.inc.php on line 261, referer: http://XXX/egroupware/login.php?cd=1&domain=default [Sun Aug 28 15:57:06 2011] [error] [client XXX] PHP Warning: array_merge(): Argument #1 is not an array in /var/www/egroupware/phpgwapi/inc/class.translation.inc.php on line 261, referer: http://XXX/egroupware/login.php?cd=1&domain=default Jürgen Comment by Stefan Roder at 2011/08/28 11:18: Hello Ralf, deleting the whole cache had no effect. Re-installed all languages, rebooted the server, changed form german to english an d backwards - nothing changed. All in all this is very trange. The languages remains english, but not in all areas. Error in apache log is still there. See screenshot attached. Any other idea? Thanks in advance Stefan Comment by Ralf Becker at 2011/08/27 20:40: Looks like you cache get somehow messed up. Try deleting the whole cache directory, usually in /tmp/egw_cache. Ralf Comment by Stefan Roder at 2011/08/27 19:38: Ralf, going back to earlier revisions had no effect unfortunately. Now I've got this error in my apache log: [Sat Aug 27 18:32:09 2011] [error] [client 85.177.224.176] PHP Warning: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array in /srv/www/htdocs/phpgwapi/inc/class.translation.inc.php on line 261, referer: http://myhost/preferences/index.php I reinstalled preferences/ app from svn without any change. I'm lost! What should I examine now? Greetings Stefan Comment by Stefan Roder at 2011/08/27 11:24: Hi Ralf, havn't tried yet, but I can't imagine, too. It's just the moment, since when this issue happened. I can switch between german and english in general options but it changes nothing. Yesterday, before implementing the actual updates from r36327 on, everything was fine. Comment by Ralf Becker at 2011/08/27 11:12: Hi Stefan, you say going back to r36327 fixes the problem and again to r36328 creates it again? >From what the code changes, that's hard to imagine.
