We've set up egroupware 1.6 (upgrade from 1.4, upgraded from 1.04) and use the tracker-queue extensively. It's running on open-solaris. When people make changes to the tickets, no prompting email is set. In the site configuration it is set to use a local SMTP server and port correctly. Mail sent from a shell on the machine works correctly.
