Ticket modified by Tino Marissen at 2009/01/22 10:06 Tracking System: Bugs Category: SyncML Version: Version 1.6.001 Status: Open Completed: 0% Priority: 5 - medium Created By: victor gomes do vale Assigned to: Patrick Bihan-Faou Summary: #1902 - funambol, iphone and two way sync Hi, First of all, note that the test where made with a fresh empty contacts iphone. the iphone was setup with funambol and a two way sync to EGW. when we sync everything works great, you get the contacts you have in egw. when we create a user with the EGW interface, it is synced to the iphone no problem. when you create an account on the iphone and then you sync the contact is repicated to the EGW. Here's the problem, if the iphone syncs again, after having created the new account, the new iphone created contact is duplicated, if we sync again, the account is AGAIN duplicated (which means there is 3 copies of the contact). Bug Summary: if you create a contact on the iphone then sync, there is no problem on this first sync but for all the futur syncs this contacts will be copied on each sync making duplicates. Suggestions: Should it come from the fact that EGW creates the newly synced contact on his database with another UID than the one used on the iphone contact database ? and that for some reason the UID refresh does not occur ? ---------------------------------------------------------------- > Comment by Tino Marissen at 2009/01/22 10:06: It is not only with iphone sync, it is with funambol outlook sync too!
