Then it's no problem to invite that person. Please check, if the invitation text templates fit to people outside of your eGroupware installation. So they can understand, what that email means (that is: a eGroupware user will just take a look at the event to see the details, an outside person will have to understand by that email, that (s)he is invited, and when and where to come...)
