That's a miss understanding. The primary user interface is the webbrowser. He is installed on every computer and it allows you to use eGroupWare instantly. AIR allows you to download a application which is writen in Javascript, Flash and HTML and execute it on your desktop like any other browser based application. Just without the browser. As Macromedia(now part of Adobe) already made Flash a big success and Adobe also know how to do good marketing, i'm pretty sure that we hear more about this technology in the future. > I prefer the install-free client side, including the browser based > interface and the sync based interface.
