i did actually have the backgrounds clickable but when I clicked on the 'manual' icon it opened the page in the current window, not open a new window like it suppose to. so i removed that feature cause in my mind, = that feature broke egw. I do agree it would be nice, i just gotta figure out a way to do it without breaking things :) links surrounded by text? not sure i understand you on that one. oh = wait...
